Greyhound Bus Station Schedule
Last week, local elected officials and Greyhound representatives celebrated at a ribbon cutting for the new Greyhound bus terminal. The new 10,000 square foot terminal at 420 Richards Boulevard will open on July 27. According to Greyhound officials, the first incoming bus will arrive at 5:55 a.m. from Los Angeles. Two departing buses will leave the terminal at 7 a.m., one bound for Portland and another for San Francisco.
The new terminal features six bus bays, a sleek, modern design and an onsite restaurant serving hot meals and snacks. It is silver LEED-certified and uses strategies that improve energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions and indoor environmental quality. The new Sacramento Terminal designs incorporates:
- Controlled passenger waiting areas that meets the latest Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design standards
- Daylight harvesting, a system of natural lighting elements (windows and skylights) that are monitored with photo cells to control dimmable light fixtures
- Tall volume ceilings to cool the building and concrete floors to help with thermal mass
The relocation of the Greyhound bus station has been a top priority for the Downtown Sacramento Partnership (DSP) for many years. Now with the terminal opening next week, DSP will continue efforts to identify suitable reuse options for the site.

Ok so my boyfriend wants to come visit me from Philly, i live in Allentown we both live in Pennsylvania but different cities my question is does the greyhound bus works on Saturday?? because he tried to get a schedule for tomorrow which is saturday but the schedule doesn’t say anything about Saturday only Mon-Fri but when i call my city bus terminal they said that they was open and greyhound buses are running through tomorrow to them so now i’m really confuse. And can he just go to the greyhound bus station and take a round trip ticket with out having a exact Schedule planned out??

Answer by CharlieSeveral sites say that Greyhound does NOT have service from Philly to Allentown….including the Greyhound site. Susquehanna Trailways does have service from Philly to Allentown. See site below and scroll down to the 2nd schedule on the page. Your boyfriend needs to call them at 1-800-692-6319.
